HBO and Boxing After Dark comes to San Jose Saturday for a triple header with Gilroy's Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero as one of the headliners.

Today at the famed King's Gym in Oakland, the headliners for Saturday's HBO boxing card at the HP Pavilion in San Jose met the media. The main attraction locally is Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero..The World Champion featherweight from Gilroy who will now campaign at 130lbs. and higher. He fights undefeated Daud Yordan (17-0 w/12KO's) on Saturday at "The Tank" and will be on a mission to look impressive in his first bout for new promoter Oscar De La Hoya and Golden Boy. At 25, "The Ghost" has a couple of World Titles at 126, but wants the biggest names in boxing as future opponents to reach the pinnacle of the sport. At 23-1-1, Guerrero is a speedy southpaw with power in both hands. He wants Manny Pacquiao and other big names to solidify his own legecy, but knows he'll need to dispatch the fighters Golden Boy puts in front of him this year to earn a huge payday and become a household name next year. Today we chatted with Robert and his manager Bobby Santos and documented the media event at King's Gym.

Great stuff. Loved the tour of King's Gym along with the history of the classic fighters and the insights of a world champion like Robert Guerrero. And perhaps most importantly, his people haven't forgotten their roots as he first made his claim to fame at
The Riot at the Hyatt." He may be the Ghost" but you are the "King."
